Which Pace Series sunglasses should I choose?

Last updated a day ago

Every SunGod Pace Series model has 8KO® lenses, interchangeable lenses and a featherlight frame made from recycled materials. The models differ in lens shape, size and what they're best for.

Which Pace Series model is right for me?

  • Maximum coverage and peripheral vision: Vulcans or Airas

  • A compact, snug fit: Velans 2 or Ultras

  • Frameless vision: Airas, Ultras or FORTY2s

  • The lightest option: FORTY2s

  • Race-ready speed: Ultras or FORTY2s

  • Smaller faces: Ultras Air

How do the Pace Series models compare?

  • Vulcans: cylindrical (flat) lens, large size. Best for maximum top-down coverage, cycling and all-round performance.

  • Airas: cylindrical (flat) lens, large size. Best for frameless vision and a minimal feel.

  • Velans 2: spherical (curved) lens, smaller size. Best for precision optics, a smaller fit and multi-sport use.

  • Ultras: spherical (curved) lens, smaller size. Best for pure focus with no distractions.

  • FORTY2s: cylindrical (flat) lens, mid-size. Best for running, with a balanced, ultra-light fit.

  • GTs: two lenses, medium size, 34g. Best for cycling and bright, sunny days.

  • Ultras Air: wrap-around lens with a certified impact-resistant full frame, 24.5g. Best for running.

What's the difference between cylindrical and spherical lenses?

Cylindrical (flat) lenses give a wide, open field of view. Spherical (curved) lenses curve in two directions for sharper optics.
