Inside the SunGod See Better Ambassador Summit

40 ambassadors. One community. And a day we won't forget

What does it look like when the SunGod community comes together? Not through a screen, not through Strava segments and shared Spotify playlists, but face to face, side by side, moving through the streets of London and learning more about the brand. Last Saturday, we found out.

40 ambassadors. Red Bull HQ. A scavenger hunt through the heart of London, workshops that got hands dirty and minds racing, a yoga room, a podcast chair, and pizza to close it all out. Oh, and Ruth Croft, UTMB 2025 champion, somewhere in the middle of all of it.

This is what happened.

First Stop: The Briefing

Before anything else, a proper introduction to SunGod. Not just the products, not just the partnerships, but the why. The mission. The north star. Who we are, what we're building, and why the people in that room are at the centre of it.

For some ambassadors, it was a reminder. For others, hearing it laid out clearly for the first time, it landed differently, a moment where wearing SunGods stopped being about eyewear and started feeling like belonging to something with real direction and real purpose.

That's the foundation on which the whole day was built. And then, almost immediately, everyone was sent out the door to test it.

The City Was Our Playground

The scavenger hunt began the moment the briefing ended. No easing in. Just: you've got a map, you've got a team, the team is waiting.

The See Better Scavenger Hunt sent 40 ambassadors sprinting, racing, and occasionally... falling into the fountain. The challenge wasn't just about speed. It was about getting creative, getting connected, and putting everything from the morning's introduction into action.

Back at Base: The Product Lab

After the miles and the mayhem, everyone came back to Red Bull HQ. Lunch, then straight into what turned into one of the day's most talked-about sessions: the Product Lab.

This wasn't a demo. This wasn't a slide deck. This was ambassadors, workbenches, components, and the Miras™ laid out and ready to be built by hand.

Every person in the room assembled their own pair. Hands on frames, icons pushed into place, lenses seated just right seeing what different combinations looked like in real life, held in their actual hands.

Then came part two: blue sky thinking, creating the dream pair.

We opened the floor. If you could build anything, no limits, no production constraints, just pure imagination, what would it look like? What colourways haven't existed yet? What shapes are we missing? What does the next SunGod look like through your eyes?

The conversation that followed was exactly what it should be: honest, excited, a little wild, and full of the kind of ideas that only come from people who actually live in sport and actually wear the product. These are the ambassadors who've worn SunGods on the trails, on the bike, on the start line. They possess insights that no focus group could ever achieve.

Yoga session

After the noise of the city and the energy of the lab, the day took a different turn.

A yoga room. Time to stretch, breathe, and settle into the moment. After a morning of sprinting around London and an afternoon of building and dreaming, this was the reset, a reminder that being better isn't just about pushing harder. It's about knowing when to slow down.

The Podcast Room and a Very Special Guest

With bodies recovered and minds clear, ambassadors filtered into one of the day's most intimate spaces: the podcast room.

The format was simple. Sit down. Talk about your sport. Not your results, not your KPIs, your why. What brought you to your discipline? What keeps you coming back when it gets hard? What does sport mean to you beyond the finish line?

These are the conversations that don't always happen. The ones that get lost in training logs and race schedules and the relentless noise of performance. But here, in this room, they happened.

We got to sit down with one of our athletes Ruth Croft. The New Zealand ultrarunner who crossed the UTMB finish line in 2025 as champion. She arrived as herself, warm, curious, genuinely excited to meet the ambassadors and hear their stories as much as share her own. Whether that was in the corridor over coffee, at the lunch table, or in the podcast chair sharing the journey behind one of trail running's biggest wins, Ruth's presence gave the day something that no itinerary could have planned for: proof that the athletes at the top of this sport are driven by exactly the same things as the community around them.

The love of it. The need for it. The people in it.

The end

40 ambassadors arrived that morning as individuals. Some knew each other. Some didn't. By the time the pizza landed, that had changed. They'd raced together, built together, stretched together, talked about the things that actually matter. They'd handed SunGods to strangers on the streets of London.

At SunGod, See Better has always been about more than optics. It's about our sustainability initiatives, about how you see your sport, your community, the lifetime guarantee. Days like this are what that looks like in practice.

We couldn't be prouder of every single one of you in that room. And we're already thinking about the next one.
