    Biography

Born and bred in Switzerland, Max is a total natural on skis having learned to ski as soon as he was able to walk. But for many years, skiing remained a hobby for max, as he focussed his efforts towards a newfound talent for kitesurfing. At 15, the allure of kitesurfing became too strong to resist and he left school to pursue the sport full-time, going on to win 4 kitesurfing junior world titles. By the time he was 18, Max began to crave the cold and snow in his home country. So, in 2019 he committed to splitting his career between kitesurfing and freeride skiing. Max dominated the podiums during his first winter season and later that same year, he was crowned Junior Freeride World Tour champion. At just 20 years old, Max is only just getting started, with an exciting career ahead of him. In summer, you'll find him on the GKA circuit as well as the GWA Wing Foil World Tour. And when the snow starts to fall, he'll be clipping into his skis to make his mark on the Freeride World Tour. If there was ever a young athlete to watch, Max is the one!
