Biography

Tom was born and raised in Derby, UK. With a love for outdoor sports and an older brother to compete with he quickly found a love for cycling. This matured into other endurance disciplines and then ultimately triathlon. From a young age he has wanted to win an Olympic gold medal. This is still very much his ultimate ambition in sport despite having other performance goals too, such as World Championship titles in both short and long course triathlon. Alongside these goals, Tom hopes to present himself as a good role model for younger athletes. As a youth and junior triathlete, he looked up to the British senior team and therefore knows how important it is for the next generation of triathletes to have inspiring role models.
